Midas Closes $50M Series A for Tokenized Yield Liquidity

Quick Summary: Midas secured $50 million in Series A funding to scale a liquidity system that allows investors to exit tokenized yield products instantly.

Midas has closed a $50 million Series A funding round aimed at transforming how investors access liquidity in tokenized yield products. The round was led by RRE and Creandum, with participation from Framework Ventures, Franklin Templeton, and Coinbase Ventures. The capital will be directed toward expanding the company’s core liquidity infrastructure.

The funding addresses a persistent challenge in tokenized finance: investors are often forced to wait for redemptions when their capital is locked inside vault-like structures. These mechanisms require positions to be unwound before funds can be returned, creating delays that frustrate investors seeking faster access to their assets. Midas is positioning itself as a solution to this structural bottleneck.

To tackle the problem, Midas plans to scale its Midas Staked Liquidity system, a dedicated liquidity layer built to sit separately from the underlying yield positions. Rather than requiring the unwinding of holdings at the point of exit, the system uses pre-allocated capital to fulfill redemption requests immediately. This approach allows investors to receive funds without waiting for the broader position to be liquidated.

The involvement of established financial and crypto-native backers signals growing institutional interest in tokenized asset infrastructure. Franklin Templeton, a traditional asset management firm, joining alongside crypto-focused investors such as Coinbase Ventures and Framework Ventures reflects the broadening appeal of solutions that bridge conventional finance with blockchain-based products. The diverse investor base may also support Midas as it seeks wider adoption across both sectors.

By separating the liquidity mechanism from the yield-generating structure itself, Midas aims to make tokenized products more practical for a wider range of investors. Instant redemption capability has long been considered a prerequisite for mainstream adoption of on-chain financial instruments. The Series A funding positions the company to build out that capability at scale.
